Jim Hediger was a true ambassador to the freelance model railroad niche.  Not only was he on the staff of Model Railroader Magazine for 43 years, but his own freelance model railroad, the Ohio Southern, was often used in its pages to captivate the imaginations of modelers!  The Ohio Southern was shaped by Jim's passion for the DT&I along with his desire to freelance.  This car is one which we are very proud to bring to the model railroad community!  Based on DT&I paint and lettering standards, our Atlas USRA Ohio Southern rebuilt steel boxcar is gorgeous as it displays the OS compass logo in large fashion.
