RSM HO Laser Cut "19th Century Covered Bridge"
Prototype: This 19th century covered bridge is modeled after the last covered bridge built in the state of Wisconsin. The actual bridge is located approximately 20 miles north of Milwaukee in a small town called Cedarburg.
This bridge was built in 1876 to help the local farmers get their goods into town. With a span of 120ft, this model when finished will be 17" in length! Make sure your layout is big enough to fit this exceptionally crafted product.
Model: The kit consists of laser cut plywood for the floor and internal skeleton. The walls and roof are engraved for realistic wood graining and shake shingles for the roof. The detail on the inside even includes the wheel guards that prevented damage to the bridge and wagon wheels when the horse drawn carts were leaving the covered bridge.
Finished dimensions for this covered bridge are 17" x 2.5" x 3" tall.
