The nerve center of any large railroad yard is the Yard Tower, where switching movements are coordinated, and paperwork is processed for incoming and outgoing trains. Based on the Plaster Creek Tower at Wyoming Yard, Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Modern Yard Tower features detailed brick walls, and separately applied windows, doors, and other details.
